I’ve purchased four pairs of Oliver Cabell shoes over the past few years, and there’s no doubt the quality and design are excellent. The shoes themselves are stylish, well-crafted, and very comfortable—definitely among the best I’ve worn.That said, the real picture changes when you need to return something. Customer service is extremely slow to respond, and at this point, using COVID as an excuse for poor staffing or delays just doesn’t cut it anymore. On top of that, they charge a surprisingly high restocking fee for returns—something I’ve rarely, if ever, encountered with other shoe brands.Their preorder system is another issue. The delivery timelines are consistently inaccurate, and delays seem to be the norm, not the exception.Because of these issues, I now hesitate to even browse their site, let alone buy another pair. Great shoes, but the overall experience needs serious improvement.
