In February 2023, on the advice of my doctor, I should take daily blood pressure readings. I bought an Omron BP6350. The machine worked very well for about four months. Then I continually got an E-5 message. I talked with customer service and he advised me to get alkaline batteries and sit in a straight-backed chair. I did that. Continually received the same E-5 error. I sent the unit back to Peoria, IL. I paid the shipping cost. After about three weeks, I got an e-mail from Omron telling me that the unit was working properly and they were sending my unit back to me. It's the only communication I received from the company. The limited warranty was for five years. My Radio Shack BP meter I bought in 1984 still works. I bought the Omron BP6350 for convenience and ease of use. Jokes on me...
