Do not use this insurance. I received an email a week after taking out my insurance saying I was being charged £42.50 due to a discrepancy in my insurance. When I eventually managed to contact the company online (no phone number available) they told me I had lied about my no claims. When I took out the policy I received no emails prompting me that I needed to upload any information. When I showed my no claims certificate they then removed the charge. I then tried to cancel my policy at 14 days as I had brought a new car and the company were trying to charge me £3323.97 to change to my new car from £260 for the year. To then cancel the policy they wanted to charge me £140.01 on top on the £37 I had already paid initially. So I had paid £177.01 for 14 days insurance, for an insurance that initially cost me £260 for the year. I spent 3 hours on live chat due to the lack of repose from there side and eventually managed to cancel the policy for £82, so the total cost for 14 days insurance was £119 (ridiculous). When I thought this was all done 5 days later I received an email to say I would be debited £21.66 on the 7.4.26. I cancelled my policy on the 31.3.26. When I went on to live chat I was told that this was stated when cancelling my policy (it was not) and that they hadn’t been able to cancel the direct debit due to the bank holiday. I cancelled the insurance on the 31.3.26, then bank holiday was on 3.4.26 (they had 3 days to do this prior to the bank holiday). Alina R then decided not to respond on the live chat for 16 minutes to which when I said I would be making a complaint popped up and said she had lost her internet connection (the chat never disconnected). After all of this she then stated she had gone through the previous chats and it had not been mentioned to myself that I would be getting charged the direct debit on top of the cancellation so in ‘good will’ she would now, today (bank holiday Sunday) cancel it for me. Horrendous insurance, horrendous customer service. In total I have paid £119 for 14 days of insurance and wasted a week of my time on live chat to rarely get a response.
Luckily the only good thing about this insurance is they send you a transcript of the live chats to which you can keep in evidence.
