This was my first time using this service. Booked an early 07:45am blood test the day before and paid for a taxi to get there in the morning. Saw a missed call and voicemail at 07:34 saying my appointment was cancelled. This was due to staff absence and having to close the clinic. Shocked that someone can be given such little notice.
I find it hard to believe no one would have known earlier and been able to text, email or call. Their processes urgently need reviewing so customers can be informed much earlier should this happen again. It was a wasted morning getting up extra early and paying for a taxi for an appointment that never went ahead. I requested a refund, which they agreed to do. Not that this makes up for the time, hassle and wasted taxi.
