AVOID AT ALL COST
While the quality of the service is not always reliable (we have frequent, albeit short, loss of service), the absolute worst aspect is Onestream's treatment of customers. The techniques and tactics Onestream employs to keep people locked into contracts are loathsome and manipulative.
During my time with Onestream:
1) Unwanted services were added to my contract without my knowledge, something I only uncovered after noticing my bill had been quietly inflated.
2) When I moved, instead of transferring my existing agreement, an entirely new contract was activated, effectively forcing another two-year commitment down my throat.
3) Interactions with Onestream staff have been consistently unpleasant, as it seems their representatives, rather than assisting customers, are trained to pressure, deflect, and extract as much money as possible with relentless and dismissive attitudes;
4) when I finally had the opportunity to go, it took me more than one hour to get past the attempts of Onestream staff to ignore my request and renew my contract instead. The cancellation request was followed by obnoxious emails boiling down to "switching provider is so difficult you should stay with us instead";
5) after I managed to cancel my contract with Onestream, it was reactivated without my consent. It took 90 more minutes of my time to get a Onestream representative to confirm the cancellation of my contract as I had previously requested.
I have despised every moment of dealing with Onestream, not for the quality of its service but for its insufferable techniques, and its active destruction of trust. I would strongly caution anyone considering Onestream services to look elsewhere. Dealing with them has been a frustrating, exhausting, and thoroughly negative experience from start to finish. Onestream is, without a doubt,
THE WORST PROVIDER I've ever interacted with.
