I booked an “onward ticket” for $42 to show proof of onward travel. Everything looked fine at first — I received a confirmation and even checked in successfully at the airport. But just before boarding, the airline (Malaysian Airlines) called my name and told me my booking was not confirmed — it was only a reservation, not an actual ticket.Because of that, I wasn’t allowed to board until I purchased a real confirmed ticket on the spot. The $42 I paid for the onward ticket was completely wasted. This service is misleading — they make it look like you’re getting a valid ticket, but it’s just a temporary booking that isn’t accepted by airlines. If you actually need a confirmed ticket to board, don’t use this service. You’ll end up paying twice.
