I had booked a few flights with Ojoo and had been pleasantly surprised! A bit cheaper than WestJet and after paying, the confirmation came right away with the WestJet confirmation number as well, and everything was perfectly fine on the WJ app. No issue at all and I kept using it.
However... There's a first time for everything I guess. Tonight, I see a flight for $150 CDN with WJ and it is at $133 CDN with Ojoo. I book it for two with Ojoo. Total is $266 CDN. Then it says that I am allowed another $10 discount as I am signed up and on Dreampass (which I never subscribed to). Price goes down to $256 CDN total. Not taking any extra, not booking seats, no insurance etc. Then when about to pay it says that the discount of $10 isn't valid and my price goes back up to $266 CDN. Which is totally fine as I have not signed up with Dreampass. So total is $266 CDN when I pay with my credit card.
Seconds later I receive an email from my Credit Card statement. I have been charged... $298 by WestJet!!!! So... At the WestJet price (not ojoo) and by WestJet! Strange!
But the worst part is...... I get another statement charge of $80 CDN BY OJOO!!!! Like.... Wth is that? What for? So that $300 flight that I could have booked directly with WJ is now costing me $378 with Ojoo!!! And I thought that it would cost me $266 CDN total!!! Wth is that extra $112 CDN for???? WestJet price plus an extra $80???
I was really disappointed with them tonight. For the first time. And unfortunately, I might never book with them again nor refer them to anyone like I used to. Sad.
