My phone company was verizon. I switched to ooma about 7 or 8 years ago. The monthly fee was much lower than verizon. With Verizon, I never added features such as second line, caller id display because the extra cost was high. With ooma, those features came automatically. Now I can ell who's calling me and if my wife is on the line, I can still use the second line to make my call. Over the years, I never had any issue with ooma and did not need to call their customer service at all.
