Buyer beware

Buyer beware, green light guaranteed over $6k purchase price is a joke. I bought a 2022 Toyota Corolla from them with a guarantee there were no transmission issues. The car will not shift without taking your foot off of the accelerator. The RPM's just keep climbing. I filed the claim and it took days before they even attempted to contact me. I had called them 4 times to attempt to get up with assigned arbitration rep. After 5 days of reaching out, He tells me I have to drive it 35 miles one way to get the car checked by a franchise dealer or an Aamco. Both want to know if they diagnose the issue will they be allowed to fix it. (I tell them, I have no idea which is not true) because Openlane will not pay but $95/hour minus a $300 deductible to do any allowed work. The diagnostic fees are on you to pay and no Aamco or . No where in the arbitration does it state you have to go to a franchise dealership. I am very small, and am effected by the time and expense of this MADE UP POLICY. There needs o be a class action suit opened against them because of bias and not handling things the same way, They are going to use mileage and year as a feeble stance where they can bounce around and make different decisions for different buyer in the name of determining what pittance they dole out. The truth is they make it as tough on you to collect and their guarantee means nothing. The arbitrator, Abe, told me on a recorded call the inspectors only drive the car up to 30 mph on the lot so when I was buying an auction car from them, I needed to plan on it needing a transmission. In essence the greenlight means nothing, the stand behind sellers who know there is an issue with a no unwind policy. Once you buy it, you are screwed and there is no recourse. I am going to every review site possible to expose their misleading, lying, crooked handling of claims. You are out a $1,000 bucks on every claim no matter what. They reimburse a $95 bucks an hours vs an industry average of $125-$140 an hour, they give you used part reimbursement (I understand), they pay for no seals or fluids, they force (me) to drive 70 miles on a 100 mile max travel before they are off the hook and they charge $300 deductible to fund the arbitrator screwing you. both Manheim and ACV allow for unwinds, so I will never buy from these people again.
