During my checkout experience, they signed me up for their Prime membership, and somehow just decided to use the same card and billing details I used to book the flights with. I only found out after I got their confirmation email on my membership that this is actually an annual membership that auto-renews.
You can only cancel this membership by calling a UK number. When I called the first time, I got through very fast, probably within a minute. The guy on the other end gave me a big sales speech trying to get me to stay a member, but I insisted on canceling. Once I insisted, he just hung up.
When I tried calling again, my account had clearly been flagged. Now, it's been over 15 minutes, and I still haven't reached an operator. This is truly the lowest of the low practices. I hope everyone stays far away from this company.
