I couldn't check in, online and had to pay to check in at the airport. Ryanair advised me this was due to buying my ticket from a third party. Opodo should have advised me!
During my checkout experience, they signed me up for their Prime membership, and somehow just decided to use the same card and billing details I used to book the flights with. I only found out after I got their confirmation email on my membership that this is actually an annual membership that auto-renews.
You can only cancel this membership by calling a UK number. When I called the first time, I got through very fast, probably within a minute. The guy on the other end gave me a big sales speech trying to get me to stay a member, but I insisted on canceling. Once I insisted, he just hung up.
When I tried calling again, my account had clearly been flagged. Now, it's been over 15 minutes, and I still haven't reached an operator. This is truly the lowest of the low practices. I hope everyone stays far away from this company.
I am writing to report an unauthorized/automatic charge for Opodo Prime booking ID 24555232288. Your Help Center is forcing me to make expensive international calls instead of providing digital support. I demand a full refund under the 14-day EU Right of Withdrawal. I have already cancelled the auto-renewal. Please resolve this immediately to avoid a formal bank chargeback.
This is full scam... they just need to charge annual subscription not 5 or 10 pounds... its 99 pounds. After telling them cancel the subscription... they will not give you money back they will offer you vouchers.... because they don't have money back policy if fault is done by their employees... I told them in 2025 to cancel my subscription and refund my money they gave me some voucher and that I never used and they told me they will cancel it but today again 99 pound deducted from my account... And when I asked them they said we can not refund your money... they are liars and big scam...
Prime is a scam that they lock you into automatically and it’s very hard to withdraw once they have your bank details. I personally had to cancel my credit card to stop them taking unauthorized payments or permission. They should be investigated.
I highly recommend this car rental company! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everything was clearly explained, and the whole rental process was quick and hassle-free. The car was clean, well maintained, and in perfect condition. Returning the car was also smooth and uncomplicated. I will definitely use this service again!
I’ve been with Opodo for 3 years and their customer service is exemplary, I was just speaking with Ameen who handled my query extremely professionally and provided great customer service. He solved my issue, the conversation was great and it’s people like this that kept me subscribed for another year!

Paid for Opodo prime membership for 2 years, have not used it once, it was completely worthless. They refused to refund me despite this. Called them within 24hrs of the second payment but they still wouldn't refund. Your calls go to an outsourced call centre in India who just reiterates their policy, this is one of the special benefits for prime members, so-called "VIP support". After escalating they offered to refund half the latest payment as an "exceptional gesture of goodwill", which I did find funny, but it sadly demonstrates they have absolutely no interest in being helpful or fair; they are theives. Do not trust them, their entire business model is fooling you.
I went to book a flight via a link I got from a general fligt search engine - booked the flight and then got a 120 Euro bill for the Opdo Prime Membership - hidden embership offer shoved down my neck meanwhile I just wanted to JUST book a last minute fight. A new type of fraud that banks cannot help you revert as Opodo books this extra cost from your credit card right the same moment as you book a flight with them. FRAUDUENT. UNPLEASANT. I Am supposed to get 60 Eur back within a week up to 20 days from the date of my complaint call.
