The overall experience in the clinic was excellent on both occasions (two separate cataract operations) and deserves 5 stars. All the staff and surgeons were helpful and courteous. However, the centralized phone service is the worst I've encountered for an NHS facility. On one occasion, I called twelve times throughout the day without an answer. Email is the best way to contact them, as they respond quickly and are very helpful. If the phone service could be improved, this would be nearly a perfect experience.
