Very rude poor service

I used Asda fosse park opticians for over 10 years. I’ve personally worn glasses for over 35 years. so the first problem we had was about a year ago they did the measurement wrong on my husband‘s glasses for the eye pupil. which meant when they arrived because it wasn’t measured correctly they were very blurry and giving him headache,so they then had to be returned and redone to be honest they said it was a mistake and I kind of let it go but now I’ve had another problem. so I took both my sons to have new glasses. One of my son is autistic and they normally are amazing but not this time so my son had. have his glasses for less than 24 hours. He fell while at college and the frame bent very badly and the lens split down the middle which I’ve never seen ever. I feel the lenses were poor quality very thin and the frame is useless and their argument was that because we’re using an NHS voucher we couldn’t use another one. Don’t really care about that. I’m happy to pay for glasses I’ve ended up paying for another pair but totally different pair. At no point have I had any form of refund the woman on the phone when I rang her was very rude and over all the service is quite appalling. What I’m concerned about now is is when these glasses are made if we’re going have the same problem.I’ve also been told there’s no insurance on these glasses And if they break again, I have to pay for them again luckily I work and don’t claim benefits but that’s not the point . now my third issue is I have a very narrow nose bridge from wearing glasses since I was a child. I’ve always had Asda‘s petite glasses because at the time they’ve always had the best range and I’ve not been told to go and get a pair from the kids section like I have been told at a very high retailed opticians in the past which was absolutely degrading. I’m an adult at the end of the day now the problem is I can’t wear mouldy glasses. I have to have glasses with a nose bridge and pads. They only have four pairs of glasses that are in their range for petite and none of them have this so in January when I go to the opticians for my eye test, I know I’m going to have to go elsewhere. This is stressing me out. I am autistic myself. I do not like change. I even asked if they would possibly put lenses in an old pair and service them for me because they need new arms fitting on the glasses because they’re worn out cause I live in my glasses. I wear them 24 seven I’m severely shortsighted which point I was told they can’t do this, so I really don’t know what I’m going to do. I know I’m going have to look for another opticians for myself and after the appalling response from them for my son glasses which he only had 24 hours if I have issues with the frame that I’m now waiting for I think I’m definitely going to have to go elsewhere. I’ve never had bad service from Asda but this is going on now over a year and it’s not one thing it’s lots of things the quality has gone downhill. The collection of glasses is appalling and their staff are very rude and it’s a shame because they’re not just losing me as a customer, they’re going to lose four people, which is everyone in my household so thank you so much Asda for a really poor service.
