Review Time
It saddens me to give poor review. I feel this has to be said. Asda Park Royal. The chap who dispensed my glasses used a patrician next to him (just to hide what he was doing) and was bending my frame with his hand. It’s a mess and I feel I’m stuck with uncomfortable glassed not to say that I’ve also wasted my good money after bad. Please sort this.
I ordered contact lenses on January 9th and received an order confirmation claiming I would be notified when my order was dispatched. After a week of no updates, I called the support team, who informed me that the lenses were dispatched on January 15th and that I should expect delivery within 7 working days from that date. When I inquired about the lack of a dispatch confirmation email, the representative stated they don't send such emails. Why mention it in the confirmation then? My previous suppliers delivered within 3 working days. Very unhappy with this inadequate service.
I have to give a 1-star rating as there’s no option for zero. I had my eyes examined at a location on November 24, 2025, and ordered safety glasses for work. I had an eye test and contact lens fitting at a local optician. The staff were incredibly patient with me as I struggled with inserting them. I had two separate appointments, and they were wonderful throughout the process. The optician was fantastic, and special thanks to the staff member who assisted me with the fitting. I'm very pleased with the entire experience and the added benefit of improved vision!
I called yesterday to check when my eye test was due, only to find out it was scheduled for last July (2024). I was told that there was a system upgrade and some people didn't receive their appointments. I find this hard to believe. Can anyone else confirm this?
The service was absolutely superb. The staff member was very professional. I received my glasses in just 4 days. I had to wait until Monday to pick them up due to my shifts. They were significantly cheaper than other retailers, and I am thrilled with my varifocals with reactive coating.
Our first visit to a local optician was fantastic. Everyone was helpful and the eye test was thorough. We were amazed by the pricing of the glasses, including designer options. The price listed was all-inclusive with no hidden extras. We would highly recommend this service.
I made an appointment at a local optician on January 2 for January 10 at 12:35. I arrived just 3 minutes late and then waited an additional 5 minutes before being attended to. I was told I was late and that I would need to reschedule my appointment. I found this cancellation policy unreasonable and decided to book elsewhere.
