This company – which sometimes goes by the name RecSpecs - is awful. I rarely take the time to write a negative review, but this place was beyond. I placed an order on September 20 for a pair of sunglasses (which are manufactured by a SwitchVision and not prescription). These details are important because of the lies I was told later. Upon placing my order I was told it was 3 to 5 business day shipping. A week later I get an email telling me that my order was “being manufactured” and would take 12 to 15 business days, and that I would receive confirmation when it was ready.On October 15, still having heard nothing, I called and was told that my glasses were “being made in the lab” were “going to be ready the next day” and for my troubles I would receive “free overnight shipping.” Today, October 18, I still see no updates. I called and the agent said “they are just putting the glue on your lenses.” Obviously, it was another lie, so I asked them for my money back and for an immediate confirmation of cancellation to my credit card. That, luckily, I received promptly.Do not order from these guys. They suck. They lie. And they tell you the most ridiculous tales.
