Disappointing Experience with Optimum RV - Poor Inspection and Repair IssuesI'm writing to share my disappointing experience with Optimum RV. Despite friendly sales associates and promises of a complete inspection, we've been stuck with a lemon of a travel trailer. The issues started with a power problem that delayed our pickup, and we were promised that all the electrical parts would be replaced to fix the issue. However, instead of doing the promised repairs, the technicians simply replaced the battery with one not compatible with travel trailers, providing a temporary fix to get us off the lot. After taking possession, we discovered additional issues that Optimum RV's inspection apparently missed, including:- Major electrical and circuit issues- A non-functional hot water heater- Safety hazards, such as exposed wires and incorrectly installed plumbing fixturesBy doing so, Optimum RV risked our safety on the road and failed to honor their commitments. We've had to pay thousands of dollars for repairs that should have been addressed before we took ownership. When we brought our concerns to Optimum RV's attention, they refused to rectify the issues, citing the "as-is" sale clause. However, this contradicts their earlier promises of repairs and inspections. We're disappointed in Optimum RV's lack of attention to these issues and their failure to stand behind their promises. Until these issues are resolved, I would caution others to carefully consider their purchase decision with Optimum RV.
