I ordered a custom map and entered my postcode. The default settings place the center (my home) perfectly in the middle, which sounds ideal for a personalized map, but it results in it being right on the central fold in all directions. To view my house, I have to open the entire map, and the folds will wear out with use. It's impossible to zoom in on the map section or see where the folds will be on the order page, so repositioning is just a guess. I requested a small discount to repurchase the map with a better placement but was denied. I bought a second adjusted one as a gift for my husband, but I won’t be purchasing again and feel a bit let down.
