The system is overwhelmingly focussed on creating routes (and doesn’t seem to pretend otherwise) rather than on exploring and understanding the content of the maps as information. As a result it’s hard to use. I have found a way to use it, but I don’t think it is optimal and I always get an error message. I’m very disappointed. As it stands, I may not renew my subscription.

Result? It appears I'm signed up to a service I don't really use for another year.
Customer beware of the trap! Make sure you cancel the auto license renewal in your account profile when you get hooked in by marketing offers.
I subscribed to an annual plan (typically around £34, but £17 for the first year) to access my location on mapping services via my smartphone. While I haven't tested it extensively yet, I found the website challenging when trying to upload a second GPX file today.
Great seasonal deals available. I appreciate the unique gift maps, although they have become smaller. This year, I chose to go with the older maps. I'm somewhat disappointed that the company has ceased selling outdoor gear, as there's a limit to how many maps I can purchase.
I’m updating my review from 1 to 4 stars because the support team quickly processed a refund after I contacted them using a different email. I suggest avoiding responses to their order confirmation emails, as they seem unmonitored, despite their misleading support name. The email that worked for me had a .uk ending, while the other did not. Additionally, the cancellation process can be quite tedious, leading you through various sites. I initially canceled, but it errored out without confirmation, leaving me unsure about my cancellation status. The maps service and apps are fantastic and would typically earn a 5-star rating, but due to a mild illness, I had to cancel my usage, which caused these issues. Now that they’ve been resolved, I’m feeling quite satisfied overall and look forward to returning when I can utilize the service again.
I ordered a custom map and entered my postcode. The default settings place the center (my home) perfectly in the middle, which sounds ideal for a personalized map, but it results in it being right on the central fold in all directions. To view my house, I have to open the entire map, and the folds will wear out with use. It's impossible to zoom in on the map section or see where the folds will be on the order page, so repositioning is just a guess. I requested a small discount to repurchase the map with a better placement but was denied. I bought a second adjusted one as a gift for my husband, but I won’t be purchasing again and feel a bit let down.
