We have had our Origin hybrid mattress for over a month now and I am very impressed with the comfort of it. We previously had a mattress from Nectar but it soon became two pits where my partner and I each slept. This was causing me intense pain as I have severe arthritis throughout my body. We chose the Origin mattress,because I had researched a lot of honest reviews. Genuine reviews seem to be few and far between it seems for any mattress as people have differing views,so this review I can only say our own experience of this hybrid mattress to our true honest opinions.
The hybrid is very comfortable and nice and deep so it makes it high and easy to get on to,a lot higher than my old mattress.Its excellent for what my partner and I need, I need a lot of softness but also support for my body as I find it difficult to sleep because of constant pain, the hybrid certainly helps with that. We got two pillows as well with our order, and oh wow! They are perfect! They are so comfortable to sleep on and they bounce straight back once you are off them. So impressed with them ,and again I find it hard to sleep on many pillows due to the pain but these are wonderful. I read some people saying they were like laying on a brick, however I find the absolute opposite, soft and luxurious and not at all hard just supportive which is exactly what you need in a pillow.
I only have one little niggle with the mattress which is only a small thing, but I find my fitted sheets move and become crumpled when we move , I think it’s probably due to the material on the mattress cover that comes with the mattress at fault,it is quite shiny so does not grip the sheet like my old one did. But as I say it’s a small matter but non the less a little irritating.
When you spend a lot of hard earned cash on a superior mattress then you expect superior quality for your money, I feel genuinely it’s been well worth buying. I sleep so lightly so every movement in my old mattress I felt my partner moving as well, not so much with the new one which is a blessing in itself.
I would rate this mattress 9.5 out of 10, it would have had 10/10 if it hadn’t been for the bottom sheet moving so much on the mattress material.
Have to add, customer service from this company and also the delivery schedule were absolutely second to none..cannot fault either. Everything was delivered when they said it would be, by excellent delivery guys. I would advise you get the delivery men to take your mattress up to the bedroom for you as it is quite weighty. We did it ourselves which was our choice,and it was a bit of a struggle but other than that ..wonderful all in all. Thank you Origin for giving me back a better nights sleeping I had been craving for such a long time!
