I’m SO not surprised that they get such bad customer service reviews here. I’ve had at lease two bad customer service experiences, both of which they’ve shown horrible professionalism. The first time, a referral voucher I was about to get disappeared because of a bug in their website. Instead of just issuing me one on the spot, the representative just straight out told me she couldn’t do anything and hung up. The second time, I waited for two months for an order, and they said they’d give me a notice within 45 days; no notice came after 45 days, and they only responded to me after I reached out first. Obviously, I wrote an email saying I want to cancel the order and also complained about their service, saying I’d switch to another brand. No one even apologized for the delay! But I didn’t even get a response for the complaint. Sure, maybe I’m not a big enough customer. I’ve only spent a few hundred bucks on Origins. But I’ve exclusively used their stuff for the last two years, and would, if they don’t have such bad customer service, use it for much longer. This is probably the only brand I’m quitting simply because of the customer service. They have really good products, but this is just insane and I don’t want any of my money going to those negligent and unprofessional customer service departments. After two times of bad experiences I’m now distrustful of not just Origins, but the entire Estee Lauder product line. There are other brands with nice products too and with service like this, Origins can’t win in the long run.
