My first attempt at buying a new mattress with another company was a fail. It was a memory foam mattress that was no where near the stated medium firm. The problem appeared to be having no springs led to sinking well into the mattress. As I'm 16 stone this was considerable, feeling like my legs were higher than my torso. It went back. My second attempt, now with OTTY, was much better. This time I read all the fantastic reviews and about hybrid mattresses that have springs. They are a best of both worlds. Support and that 'sink' that is experienced with memory foam when body heat affects the structure of the foam. It initially feels firm but once warmed up, after about 3-5 mins releases really nicely to become medium firm. No big sink too, so a partner won't be rolling towards you, unless they want to. Mattress integrity returns pretty quickly once you get out off the bed. As yet, only a month of use but it looks like it's never been used. The product comes vacuum packed in a box but once opened expands very quickly to full size. The previous memory foam only mattress had to be left for 72 hrs before use, which is a little impractical. However, this product can be used within 2 hrs but can take a few days to 'settle'.It's a great product, which I'm already thinking of buying my daughter one to help with her bad back.
