We've used Outschool for years, but with their recent switch to membership subscriptions it's horrible. The plans indicate how many courses will be covered per month, but that is not accurate. The subscription plan does not cover 1, 2, or 3 courses per week. Each course has a defined number of credits that is not related to the credits offered in the membership plan. Canceling membership forfeits previously paid for credits. We recently lost 52 credits when evaluating changing plans and paused our membership. Mathematically, the option to purchase credits to meet the needs of the student will always leave unused credits remaining. It is difficult to figure out how many credits you will need per month without purchasing the higher-level plans. If you are considering using Outschool with the HOPE scholarship I would strongly advise you to go a different route. In addition, the subscriptions are not easily configured for multi-students or homeschooling co-ops.
