I was initially thrilled with the significant savings, but it turned into a nightmare when I was stopped for driving without insurance! There was a problem with one payment, but I missed the single email notifying me that the payment wasn’t processed, as well as the email indicating that my policy was canceled. If I hadn’t been pulled over, I would have remained unaware that I was driving uninsured! The cost of these "savings" was steep. I had previously heard a similar story from someone who had returned home, but I thought he must have made a mistake. I never expected it would happen to me. Thankfully, we were both fortunate enough to secure insurance again after the cancellation. It was extremely expensive for him, and he had to go through a broker. The service I received was just a little more than another option. I wouldn’t consider that other option again; it’s terrifying to be in a situation where you’re uninsured and unaware! No savings are worth this kind of risk. Other companies typically follow up to ensure the policy remains active and that the premium isn’t lost.
