The reservation process for our trip from US to Singapore at first went well. We immediately saw the charges and conformations come through. Now, my wife and decided to sit in different classes of seat on the same flight because I wanted her to have a comfortable long flight so we got her a first class ticket and I took coach.
Several weeks later we got a notification that my flight had changed but not hers. Ovago rep said it was flight change from the airline and they would get back to us with the change. Literally a month of phone calls to Ovago trying to get an update and they just kept saying they were waiting on the airline. Alaska Air was the airline so I called them asking about flight changes and they were unaware of what I was talking about. Finally Ovago says my flight has officially change to a different plane on a different day. By the way the trip is 5 months away. Not last minute. I asked Ovago how my flight changed but not my wife's flight. It's the same airplane. They offered no explanation except to say it was the airline. If it's the airline then it's a problem between Alaska Air and Ovago because I again called Alaska Air and verified that the flight that my was now officially booked on and I wasn't any longer was still scheduled for the original time and date with seats still available.
In the end Ovago said they could either put me on a plane on a different day or cancel my ticket. But that they COULD NOT CANCEL MY WIFE'S TICKET because it was already booked and confirmed.
Ultimately I got Capital One Credit involved to refund all of our money.
