I booked a clean for 2 weeks before Christmas. I also asked for the hob and extractor to be cleaned too. I paid a £55 deposit. I then decided to cancel the booking as it was done for me by someone else. I have now made 7 calls to request a refund and every time am told that the call handler will ‘escalate’ it with the finance department. They also refuse to let me speak to the finance department. I told them I wanted interest added to my refund amount as they are accruing it in their account ( I know I am probably deluded)I have currently raised a Dispute with my bank. What also concerns me is that when I ring them they know who is calling without having to ask for my details so I am clearly on a database that I have not consented to be on!
