Return policy is ridiculous

Return policy is ridiculous. I ordered something at 7am and cancelled it at 10am. They state that it was already being prepared for shipping and they could not guarantee that it could be canceled but they would try. (sure) It arrived anyway and when I called Overstock to return the item I was informed that I would have to pay return shipping, which was 60 dollars which is half the cost of the item. When I stated that I canceled the order I was told you only have half an hour to cancel a placed order to guarantee a cancelation. Seriously? I refused and simply sold it on my local marketplace for just under what I paid for it but at least not half. I will never order from them again. Their customer service is terrible. I will continue to take my business to Amazon where customers are listened to and helped.
