During my language course at Oxford International, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. As a result, both I and many of my classmates decided to change schools.Every Monday, regular classes are replaced with a weekly test, which means students consistently lose one full day of lessons. At other language schools, Monday classes are not taken away from students’ weekly study time.Although the teachers are listed as “instructors,” many of them struggled to explain even basic vocabulary and grammar rules. Compared to other language schools, there are also fewer elective class options. Even though our entire class expressed dissatisfaction with our teacher, no changes were made. These comments come not only from my personal experience but also from many conversations I had with other students. Based on these collective experiences, it is clear that the quality of teaching needs urgent improvement.Additionally, the homestay accommodation I was placed in was terrible. The bigger issue, however, was the lack of support. Although the school said they would help, they completely ignored the situation. After I sent a written email explaining the problems, they began ignoring me as well.
