Do NOT book a party at Oxygen Croydon, it was a nightmare from start to finish and, to top it off, the pizza was cold and the chips were hard. I was spoken to rudely by a member of staff. I was accused of stealing slushies despite me having paid £4.95 per cup! A cup of water was grabbed from one of the children whilst he was drinking it as they thought it was a slushie, despite me having just asked for a cup of water for the child in question. One of the party guests was assaulted by another child attending the centre resulting in a fat lip and, when the staff were questioned, they admitted seeing the fight but didn’t try to stop it. The wrong name was showing on the birthday board and when a member of staff finally showed up when the children had eaten their food I mentioned it and they laughed and said they’d change it, to which I replied it was a bit late! The staff may not be bothered in what their job role is (a lot were standing around laughing and joking instead of looking after guests) but a party means a lot to the child in question and things like this just ruin the occasion for them and their parents.
