We booked a hotel on 25/01/2026 for our family. We wanted the hotel destination near by or in the radius of 1 km of velankanni shrine tamil Nadu,for further clarification we called up customer care.and explained her the requirements.she checked and suggested us hotel and told its within 1 km from velankanni shrine. And asked us to make advance payment of Rs.3505 we agreed and made the payment on her request.She confirmed us that she is taking us on call conference with the hotel reception and mean while the call got disconnected.but when we checked we found hotel destination from velankanni shrine is about 14 km away that means false information provided by oyo customers care while booking
The hotel they provided us was "COLLECTION O NAGAPATTINAM BUS TERMINAL FORMERLY YAZHISAI RESIDENCY"
Same day the complaint was registered and it was told that within 24 to 48 hrs the complaint will be solved but now the complaint has been closed without any resolution and also the OYO customer care is denying to provide the refund and this was said by the Senior Executive Mr.Yash.
1)money debited from our account
2)we did not checked in hotel so hotel did not received the money
3) money is still with oye but they don't wanted to give the refund to us
4)they are definding their team members
5)this is the new trend of scamming people 6)our only mistake was we trusted the customers care Executive
7)this was my Booking ID-QCX03286 for hotel booking
