I received an email indicating that my package, which was sent overseas but not picked up, could be retrieved at a specific facility. The email clearly advised against visiting on January 1st due to closure. So, I went on January 2nd (Friday), only to find the pickup location shut. The following week, I attempted again, and after an hour's drive, the staff informed me that many others receive similar emails, but they couldn't explain why, as there is no option to collect any returned packages there—it’s merely a warehouse. After about 30 minutes of trying to contact someone in the parking lot, I finally reached a representative by phone. They expressed confusion about the email I received and mentioned that if I wanted, they could return the package to its original sending location. Since that conversation, I have heard nothing about the package. I am left wondering if they will impose a daily late fee of 100 HUF for not retrieving the package from this nonexistent warehouse within the 30-day timeframe. A service of this standard should not be allowed to operate.
