I purchased a jar of Tamarind Paste and placed in in my pantry for a special dish. When I took it out and opened it, it was not sealed, dried paste all over the rim of the jar, and half of the paste was gone. It had obviously been opened and used before it was sold to me. I immediately threw it out for fear of contamination. Be aware that there is not quality control over their food products whatsoever.
