Remember Longaberger Baskets? Quality, Woven Wood Baskets made in the USA in Dresden, Ohio? Well, Pampered Chef is well on their way to sharing the same fate as Longaberger. After Dave's death, sourcing was changed to overseas, China, and customers were never told until their much anticipated product arrived at their house with an American Craftsman shown on the box front and Made in China in small print on the back, all for the same Made in America price. Sound familiar? That's what you get now from Pampered Chef and the company will end up just like Longaberger with its white fence rotting and forgotten in Ohio fields and a Basket Shaped Corporate Headquarters abandoned and falling apart. Way to go management. Another great American Compamy wrecked by managers who never worked a real job in their life. I gave them a 2 because I still remember what they could have been.
