I am absolutely appalled and frustrated by the service that I have just received.I got a call from a number which I picked up and the man (the cab driver) over the phone told me that my cab was outside. I was extremely confused and concerned as I was driving and hadn’t ordered a cab.I said that maybe someone had used my account and I could find out for him. (At this point I thought it was my sister using my device, someone hacked into my account or it was a scam). He then proceed to raise his voice at me, telling me that I shouldn’t give my details out as it could go against my account. This speech went on for a good 5 minutes and I listened to what he was saying as I understand that this can be frustrating for drivers. When I asked him to speak more politely, he proceeded to continue his speech about how it’s important to have accurate customer details still with his voice raised.I then said that I could find out if anyone had ordered a cab in 2 seconds and he said that I had 30 seconds in a snarky tone. Still trying to get some information, I asked him which cab service this was to which he and “Panther cabs. The best one in Colchester”. (I think not). He continued his lecture on how I shouldn’t give out my account to which I started to also raise my voice and I was confused about who he thinks he is talking to. The cab driver grew louder and louder until so decided to end the call on him whilst he was speaking because I was trying to help him but he just wouldn’t listen.In the end I called Panther and told them the situation. To be fair to the handler, he was nice and apologised for the cab drivers actions. I explained that there was no need to be nasty, especially since I was willing to apologise if there had been a mistake or misunderstanding.No person should have to sit on the phone with a service provider and be screamed at. I explained to the cab driver that if he had been nice in the first place, then there wouldn’t be an issue but he kept becoming more defensive. It’s disgusting the way that they think they can speak to people.I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Although I haven’t used this company in over a year, I will never use it again. The driver even made a snarky comment about this saying that if I get my account banned, then I wouldn’t be able to use their services again like he was providing a 5 star service. Like I would want to ever order a cab from you guys again…I’d rather walk. If you want kind, reliable and fast service please use Uber and save yourself screaming at cab drivers for something that wasn’t even your fault
