Our Veteran's Support Group Men's Shed realised that all members were out of date with their First Aid & CPR knowledge. Our Shed received a grant from the AMSA to cover costs of the necessary training by a qualified training organisation. Our research found that Paradise First Aid was the only organisation on the Gold Coast that provided in person training rather than electronic. We found our trainer to be extremely efficient in his presentation and knowledge of first aid, CPR & Defibrillator. The topics covered were most relevant to our Shed activities which cover the environment, machinery, gardening, beekeeping & several activities. Also, the majority of our members are in the upper age group so the imparting of Mick J's knowledge and mastering of first aid, CPR & Defibrillator information was most appreciated. We would highly recommend Paradise First Aid to any organisation such as ours where health & possible injuries are of a significant concern.
