I’m a sucker when it comes to coats and I have way too many. I am currently in the Lake District with my wife for a short break for my birthday. I had been out in the rain prior to coming to the lakes and had gotten wet so decided maybe it was time for a new jacket. I know of paramo mainly through a colleague who swears by the brand. So I decided maybe I would dip my toe in the pond that is paramo. I looked online and a couple of smocks took my fancy, the one I liked best being the Aspira 360 which I believe is one of the flagship models, the price certainly suggests as much. I read lots of reviews, watched lots of YouTube videos, and decided I would see what the smock was like in person, so we took a drive to Keswick. As soon as I handled the smock I could tell it’s a quality piece of kit. I tried it on and I was sold. The lady who served me (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was extremely helpful and knowledgable. She even asked off her own back if either myself or my wife were blue light cardholders, I am, but paramo don’t feature in the blue light app so I didn’t think they accepted it and wouldn’t have asked had she not mentioned it, it turns out that they do accept it and I got 20% off the smock which was a sizeable discount so I left extremely happy. This is my first garment from paramo and I’m yet to put it through its paces but the actual selling of the item and the purchasing experience were fantastic. Shopping for us can be stressful as my wife is wheelchair bound and I’m a grumpy short tempered sod so any slightly negative experience can trigger me and I will leave many shops empty handed and purchase most things online because it’s easier than trying to navigate most shops with a wheelchair, and dealing with impatient staff and other customers, but paramo gets a win from me, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured by the staff and all questions were answered with confidence. I’m also a big fan of the companies ethics and their values, reading how they manufacture the products via a charitable organisation in Colombia which provides training and employment for vulnerable women struck a cord with me. Very happy with my purchase so far and I’m confident it won’t let me down. Your Keswick store gets 10/10 from me for customer satisfaction
