Expensive and useless I bought a Pajaro jacket ( currently £315 on Go Outdoors) - convinced by the marketing, Paramo’s description of how their ‘directionality’ works, and that it is non rustle for birdwatching. Overview: directionality does not work: the jacket gets sodden in wet weather, increasing the weight by up to 50%. This means that it is both heavy and not breathable. So I end up soaking from sweat with moderate exertion in rain on low level dog walks. (let alone a strenuous mountain walk which is misery)This is still the case when it is washed and reroofed as per Paramo’s instructions.Detail:Water from the soaked jacket travels up the inside of the hem and cuffs wetting my clothes The arm vents are in the line of the forward facing arm seam so that rain blows inThe seams around my hood leakThe pockets also leak and soak the contents As my issue is mainly with the fundamental design of their clothing rather than with the manufacture of an an individual product I would never buy Paramo again - an expensive mistake on my part.
