Terrible communication, ignored emails and took money from my account without permission!
I shipped a parcel with parcelhero in January of this year. From the UK to the USA - initially all seemed well, the parcel was collected by Fed-ex and made it most of the way. I was then contacted by fed-ex asking for more details which I sent to them well within the time frame. When my parcel continued to languish in customs I contacted Parcelhero for support on the 10th February (offering to share the email chain that fedex had received the information they needed in time and had confirmed receiving it) and stating clearly that I did not want the parcel returned
- they did very little aside from tell me that the parcel was due to be returned and that I would have to pay resend it again. I promised to update me within 2-4 days they did not!
I followed up with parcel hero on morning of the 17th asking for an update and clarification. Between sending that and getting a reply fedex returned my parcel.
On the 20th of February I was told that the return was chargeable (after it had already been returned) and that the money would be taken from my account.
I objected to this, and referred back to my email on the 10th feb where I said I do not want the parcel returned.
The money has since been taken from my account and I have had no further communication from parcelhero
