I flew with Airfrance from Paris Saturday the 8th of July, I arrived at air port at 10 am. When trying to get through security I was stopped before I got to the desk and my hand luggage weighed, and it was 2 kg overweight, so I would have to check it in, no problem! The problem was the behavior of the two men doing the checking,, they were rude to say the least when they found out I was not French, one of a 6 foot 2 heavy man was even trying to intimidating! There was no nice explanation, “sorry sir you have to check-in your luggage it is over the limit”, NO they sneered out TOO MUCH, leaning in over me, as if I was performing some kind of criminal act. After this I tried to check the luggage at one of the machines, that was not possible, when trying to do it the desk I was in quite clear language told to go to the machines again, I told them it did not work and they just pointed to one man standing in the middle between 25-30 check in machines, with a line of passengers waiting to talk to him. This while 5-10 airport employees was standing around talking to each other. When it was my turn with the helping person between the check-in machines, he was helpful, as the first person I meet in the airport that day! The experience was NOT nice. The personal were generally rude and obnoxious, except the one helpful person. I have decided that if I have to go through Charles de Gaulle airport to come to France, I guess I am not going to France again! The service at the airport is generally bad, good service is close to non-existing and the airport is very expensive considering every thing! I can at no point advice to use Charles de Gaulle airport!!!! But advice to keep away from it!
