Silly guy from Borderforce refused me entry when he thought my passport had expired in January (bare in mind I had just flown from Turkey and was let through without any issues). I tried to explain to show him the date he had read was my birthday but he rudely said ‘don’t argue with me, I’m a professional’. He took my passport and went to discuss with another colleague before coming back over and letting me through. An apology would suffice. Manchester airport provides far better service. Don’t fly with these clowns!Ps if you’re being dropped off or collected - always ask for drop off 2. It’s a 7-8 minute walk to the front of the airport. It’s free for 40 minutes.
