I saw they had free shipping, so I spent over an hour of my precious time selecting 15 seed packs. After I puting billing, shipping and payment information I get hit with a $20 shipping fee and a $2.95 handling fee!!I have a web-based direct to consumer business. I understand that there is no such thing a free shipping. Customers pay one way or the other. I also advertise “free shipping” over a certain dollar amount. But the customer pays because it is factored into our prices. In my case with Parks, shipping is factored into the prices I paid, then they charged me again, but $20 for 15 seed packs has got to have another profit margin in it. Wait, there's more! They also assessed a $2.95 handling fee!!I appears Parks is owned by a private equity sponsor. Not good people to deal with.
