I ordered a part for my kitchenaid through this site. After a while of not receiving it, I checked back and realized that my order had been cancelled as soon as it was submitted, due to a payment error on the site. I go by my middle name but have my first name on my credit cards- this has never been a problem, but it caused an issue here. From an UX perspective, this would be improved if I could fix the problem as I was entering my information, or if I got a clear notification immediately after placing the order with steps to fix it. As it currently stands, I had to do some digging to figure out that I hadn’t been charged and it hadn’t shipped. On the plus side, when I called in to get this sorted, customer service was very helpful, the part came extremely quickly, and it worked in my machine.
