I ordered a Fuel filter at Partsgeek.com and paid for expedited shipping to ensure it would arrive on time for my mechanic appointment. Then FedEx sent it from North Carolina to Oregon for some reason, and when I checked the tracking, I learned that it is not expected to arrive here for another week. That is 2 weeks from purchase, and after the time it was supposed to arrive, and too late for my needs.
So I contacted Partsgeek online through chat, and asked to cancel my order and refund me, because I now needed to buy another fuel filter locally.
I was told that they cannot cancel the order because it was already on the way, which is understandable, but that I would need to pay the return shipping and a restocking fee. They were unwilling to send me a pre-paid shipping label or waive the restocking fee. That is the last time I do business with PartsGeek.
