I had an extremely frustrating experience with Parts Geek.
A customer service representative ordered the wrong part for me (I ordered with VIN to ensure part accuracy). Despite this being entirely their error, I was still required to pay a $25 return shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee. Customers should not be penalized for a company’s mistake.
Trying to resolve the issue was half the problem. Their support is AI chat, which was not helpful for a situation that required an actual person. I attempted to call customer service multiple times—on four separate days, I went through the queue three times each day (12 total attempts). Every single time, I waited over 30 minutes, reached the front of the line, and was then disconnected stating high call volumes - why make me wait on hold if you're just going to disconnect anyhow?!
After all of that, I was never able to speak to a live representative.
This company makes errors and then puts the burden on the customer, while making it nearly impossible to get real support. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
