I stayed at Cosy Home in Basildon from 16 December 2025 to 17 January 2026. The property had several positives: it was well located, clean upon arrival, the check-in process was straightforward, and the amenities were suitable for a longer stay. The backyard was also spacious and tidy, which added to the overall comfort.
However, there were a few issues that affected the experience. The Wi-Fi stability was inconsistent, requiring multiple calls and emails to maintain a reliable connection. The beds in all rooms were not very comfortable, and the staircase produced significant creaking noise when going up or down. Similar noise could be heard downstairs whenever someone walked on the upper floors. Additionally, the heater in the second room was not functioning, which was inconvenient during the winter period.
Overall, the property has good potential and several strong positives. Addressing the Wi-Fi stability, heating issue, and furniture comfort would significantly enhance the experience for future guests, and with these improvements in place, I would be happy to stay again!
