I’m usually happy with Patagonia, but my recent experience has been disappointing.I had one of the wax backpacks that became unusable after only a couple of years. When I enquired about a repair, I was told it wasn’t possible. Eventually, I was offered a discount code to purchase something new from the website.I placed an order and selected a local drop-off point for delivery, but the package was incorrectly sent to my old billing address. When I contacted customer service to resolve this, I was told to call PostNL myself. After I explained that this was not my error and asked the agent to look into it, she instead suggested I go to the old address (not nearby) to check personally. The package wasn’t there.As a result, I’ve had to print (find a printer!) and fill out a form to request a refund and am still waiting. Overall, this has been a frustrating and time-consuming process. The customer service agent I spoke with was not proactive and at times rude, which was very disappointing (I hope a recording of the call can be reviewed).
