This is the best cat water fountain ever. My cat mittens wouldn’t drink any water at all for almost one straight week! I was terrified. The vet said his kidney values were getting really bad and he was looking at kidney disease. I tried everything to help him but in reality I was just wasting money. Nothing I tried ever worked. My vet recommended this water fountain and even though I didn’t want to waste anymore money, I decided to give it one last chance… I’m so thankful I did.
My cat is 17 years old this 2026. I researched a fountain for her because cats have an innate sense putting them off water with bacteria film on it , even when we don't see it. They need fresh water to protect their kidneys from dehydration. Pawira is made of stainless steel and has a window to see the water level. It is easy to clean. My cat started to use the fountain several times daily once I poured a small glass of water into the top tray to help her figure it out I chose this brand because plastic carries bacteria when scratched.
