We adopted what was supposed to be a male German Shepherd puppy from this company. Instead, we were given a female puppy. When I called to inform them of the mistake, they told me they had contacted the other family involved — but failed to contact us. From that point on, communication has been extremely disappointing. Our calls have been avoided, and we continue to be pushed aside with excuses.
To make matters worse, we have not received any paperwork for the puppy we were given. We have no vaccination records, no medical documentation, and no clear health history. This is incredibly concerning as responsible pet owners — we need to know what vaccines she has received and what she may still need.
Additionally, our puppy has a hernia. We were never informed whether this was discovered at her first vet visit or if the company was aware of it at all. When we have asked for clarification, we’ve received no answers.
I have repeatedly requested to speak with someone who can provide the proper paperwork, but each time I’m told “the managers are in a meeting,” “they’re on another call,” or “that department is closed.” When I expressed concern about the urgency of the situation and our puppy’s safety due to the lack of medical history, I was told cases are handled on a “first come, first served” basis. Despite explaining that this is urgent and involves a living animal’s health, they refused to escalate the matter.
After my initial call, I was told someone would get back to me later that morning. No one did. I called again five hours later — still no update. I called again four hours after that — still no response.
At this point, this isn’t about money. It’s about the health and safety of our puppy. We simply want proper documentation and transparency, and the company has failed to provide either. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from this business.
