Working with Paycor has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. There is a consistent lack of accountability when issues occur on their end, whether it’s system glitches or file feed failures. One of the biggest challenges is how tickets are handled. Issues are often closed prematurely without being resolved. When that happens, you’re forced to start over, re-explain the entire situation to a new representative, and open another ticket. It creates a cycle that wastes significant time and increases the risk of errors. We’ve had multiple instances where FMLA accrual totals disappeared, requiring tickets that took weeks to address. More recently, a 401(k) file was not sent through the normal file feed. Despite the serious compliance implications, including potential Department of Labor concerns, it took multiple follow-ups over two weeks just to get a response. The issue itself was still not resolved and the case was closed. Any attempts I made at follow up were ignored.Overall, support is awful. Slow response times, lack of ownership, and premature ticket closures make Paycor very difficult to work with, especially when dealing with time-sensitive payroll and compliance matters.
