I'm the Business Manager for my organization. I handle all financial issues along with HR compliance. We only use Paylocity to process our payroll and it's been a nightmare.
I work in Minnesota which is an exceptionally employee supportive state. As such, each year there are new rules I have to comply with. Each time I have to implement these Paylocity mishandles the implementation leaving us exposed to legal liability. When I contact them to fix THEIR mistake they tell me they cannot and give me a long, drawn out, manual process for ME to fix what they screwed up.
The instructions they provide in their knowledge base are written far too technical for employees with minimal computer experience to gain any help from.
The webpage is still not mobile friendly. If I have to do anything in Paylocity I can only do it from my computer. The app is terrible and only has limited capabilities. For most items an employee will need to access the webpage from an actual computer which isn't realistic these days.
