Paypal accepted a significant amount into a new account I created to receive money from a retailer. However, they then blocked my ability to withdraw it, demanding additional information that wasn't required to receive the funds. To make matters worse, the relevant Paypal webpage is constantly malfunctioning, displaying an error message that says, "Sorry about that. Looks like something went wrong at our end. Try again in a minute or two." I've been facing this same issue every day for a week without attempting to upload anything. It feels almost intentional, as if they are trying to prevent me from accessing my money! I've heard rumors that insiders are selling Paypal off, and it makes me question the legitimacy of this company. There's no customer support, just a system that traps people's money while Paypal profits from it, with no compensation or communication. AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want to regret it!
